The Melia is providing roundtrip transportation to and from PUJ. Details on this will be released soon.

Can I extend my stay?
Yes. You have the ability to arrive early before the beginning of the trip as well as extend your stay the week after. In order to secure your room for any additional days you will need to call Janna Crowder. Janna has been working with Stephanie from the beginning. To make the check-in process smoother, Janna will send you a credit card authorization form to fill out and send back to her. Once this is completed she will be able to prepay your additional days, securing your spot. Below is Janna’s contact information along with her work schedule:

What if I am not extending my stay?
If you’re not extending your stay you do not need to secure your resort room. BTRG is handling this.

Can I bring a significant other?
Yes.

If I bring a significant other (S.O.), what do they pay for?
For January 19th and the 20th, BTRG is paying for you and your S.O.’s resort stay. If you wish to extend, you will need to prepay for both you and your S.O. with Janna.

What are the costs associated with extending my stay?
Extending your stay whether before or after the BTRG Company Trip will cost a single $175/person per night and a double $150/person per night. This rate already includes all taxes and fees. For example, if you and your S.O. are extending your stay for one night (checking out January 22nd) the additional cost will be a total of $300 ($150/person).

What does it cost to bring my child?
It cost $79 per child per night for ages 3 and up. (Includes all taxes and fees)

Does the Melia offer child care?
Yes. The Melia offers onsite complimentary child care every day until 5:30pm. After 5:30pm the Melia offers babysitting. The following are the prices for babysitting after 5:30pm:

• 4 months to 4 years is one group
• 5-8 years is another group
• 19-13 is the last group

For babysitting in the evening it is $10.00 per hour for the first child and then $5.00 a hour more for each additional child. For example, a family with 3 children would pay $20.00 per hour.

What is included in an all-inclusive resort?
All food and drinks both soft and alcohol are included in your room rate. Whether you choose to eat at the buffets or dine at one of Melia’s sit down restaurants, there is no charge (not even tip). There is an exception to this, there is the Hokkaido restaurant that requires an additional charge. To learn more about the food and drink amenities the Melia has to offer please click here.

Depending when you check-out, the resort will provide you with a wrist band specific to that day. This is how the resort tracks who belongs on the premise and who doesn’t. If you have specific questions regarding what activities are free of charge or not please email Stephanie Lines.

How do I get reimbursed?

Once you purchase your roundtrip airfare, you can create and submit an expense report.

Do I have free time during January 19th and the 20th?

Yes. When you’re not in a meeting or working you are free to do whatever. Below is a tentative schedule for you to follow. Please refer to this regularly because the schedule will be updated as the trip gets closer.
